Wigan June 2008 Results

The 3rd UK & Ireland competition to take place this year (the other 2 being Bedford and Bray), it was played in a league format, with 9 teams attending. Notable abstentees this time around were The Dark Side, although two of their players in Johno and Pepe, plus Victor from South Shields, teamed up with MOTU to good effect, as the team placed first, unbeaten in legs. Borg were denied victory for the first time this year, but took 2nd place, beating the Dodgers overall. Shock of the competition was Bray Juniors victory over Bedford over two legs. The final placings are as follows:
