Bray Results

With the recent changes to the Bray arena (new bases and middle) it made for an interesting competition, as everyone adapted to the different types of games. Nine teams from the UK & Ireland attended this 3 day competition, which meant that we had enough time to run a league format. Throughout the weekend there were minor pack issues, but thankfully not to the extent of the Bedford tournament that preceded it. It would've been difficult to pick a favourite coming into the competition, with seemingly nothing to choose between the top 4. But it was the BORG yet again who proved strongest, winning the competition without losing a single leg. The battle for 2nd place was a little less straightforward, with an unprecedented 3rd leg needed to seperate MOTU and Dark Side, after a controversial game on the Saturday night. MOTU came 2nd in the end, with Dark Side in 3rd, and the very disappointing current World Champions the Dodgers coming in 4th, having been beaten in all legs against the top 3 teams. << newer |older >>
